MAIN TOPIC

The “I Workshop on Environmental Sustainability and Port Management” will deal with important aspects of port management within the framework of the sustainable growth of ports and the positioning of these as environmentally efficient logistics nodes.

This conference will bring together a large number of professionals from the port and environmental sector, from different entities, organizations and administrations. More than twenty speakers with recognized experience in the port and environmental sector at the national, European and international levels, will expose topics of interest and future trends in environmental sustainability applied to port management.

The main objective of these conferences is to share and debate issues of special relevance, such as: current and future regulatory aspects; environmental aspects linked to dredging, infrastructure, port operation, management of the Public Port Domain, etc.; technological developments applied to environmental management in ports; the keys to integration and compatibility between conservation of ecological values and port development; and improvement of environmental performance in the Port Community.

The “I Workshop on Environmental Sustainability and Port Management” is organized by the Port Authority of Huelva in collaboration with Ports of State and the National Association of Ports and Coasts, with the outstanding presence of PIANC – The World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure
